Franklin Ray Thurmond, Jr.

ALBANY — Mr. Franklin Ray (Bubba) Thurmond, Jr. 45 of 663 Brim Rd. in Sasser died May 13, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be Thursday 11 AM at Kimbrell-Stern. Rev. Wesley Kaylor officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Albany, Mr. Thurmond has lived in Sasser for the past four years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Albany, 1981 graduate of Westover High School and a graduate of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College.

Survivors include his parents, Frank and Trudy Thurmond of Sasser, sister, Stacey Walker and her husband Lee of Sasser.

The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Walker 902 Brim Rd. Dawson, GA 39842.
