Marvin E. Brazeal
SANDY SPRINGS Marvin
E. Brazeal, 87, of Atlanta, died
Friday, May 16, 2008.
Mr. Brazeal was born in
Dawson, GA. He served during World
War II in the Army Air Corps with
the 416th AAF Base Unit and
flew 33 bombing missions over
Europe. In 1949 he was elected
to the State House of
Representatives from Terrell County and
served until 1955. Then in 1955
Mr. Brazeal became the
Executive Director of the Wine and
Spirits Wholesalers of Georgia,
where he worked until his
retirement in 1987. He was also a
Shriner and was a member of
Yaraab Temple.
Mr. Brazeal is survived by his
wife of 52 years, Dorothy L.
Brazeal; son and daughter-in-
law, David and Debbie Brazeal;
daughters, Susan Brazeal,
Marcie Brazeal, Sharon Brazeal;
grandchildren, Michael and Katie
Brazeal; and sister and brother-
in-law, Margaret and Marvin
Reynolds.

A memorial service will be
Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 11
a.m. at Pattersons Arlington
Chapel.

CAMILLA Sara Nell
Crumpton Griffin, 68, of Newton, died
Saturday, May 17, 2008 at her
residence.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m.
today (Monday) at Parker-
Bramlett Funeral Home, with
burial in Patmos Church Cemetery.
The Rev. Preston Wilson will
officiate.
Born November 13, 1939 in
Sumter County, Mrs. Griffin was
a homemaker and of the Baptist
faith. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Thomas Gerald
Griffin and was the daughter of
the late Isaac Franklin and Eula
Mae Hines Crumpton.
Survivors include daughters,
Teresa Addison of Milford, Laurie
Hall of Preston, Denise Hall and
Amy Hall, both of Milford; sons,
Gene Hall and wife, Agnes of
Newton and Thomas Griffin and
wife, Catrice, of Colorado
Springs, CO; sisters, Betty Motes
and Debbie Brodgen, both of
Elmore Co., AL; brothers, Thomas
Crumpton and Heflin Crumpton,
both of Elmore Co., AL; 16
grandchildren and 17 great-
grandchildren. A special thanks
goes to L.P. Stinnett of
Thomasville who was very caring to Mrs.
Sara and more like a daughter
then a friend.
Visitation will be 2 p.m.-3 p.m.
today (Monday) one hour prior to
services at Parker-Bramlett

Mickey Sauls Jordan
CUTHBERT Mickey Sauls
Jordan of Cobb, GA, former
resident of Albany and Cuthbert, died
Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Sumter
Regional Hospital in Americus.
Graveside funeral services will
be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m.
in East View Cemetery in
Cuthbert. The Revs. Lawton
Sammons and Olin Johnson will
officiate.
Mrs. Jordan was born April 8,
1918 in Randolph County,
daughter of the late Wade and
Annie Will Leslie Sauls. She was
an author and an Assembly of
God Pastor. She was attending
Lakeview Baptist Church of
Cobb.
Survivors include her husband,
Oliver H. O.H. Jordan of Cobb;
two daughters, Gayle and her
husband, Jim Doran and Sandra
Gardner, both of Cobb, Leonard
and Judy Lane of Cuthbert; two
sisters, Angel Westcott of Atlanta
and Julia Williams of Port St.
Lucie, FL; four grandchildren,
Chris Doran, Stacey Doran, Uel
Jordan Gardner and Mark
Gardner; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends
today (Monday) from 4 p.m.-6
p.m. at Lunsford Funeral Home.

DAWSON Hazel Foster
Mims, 82, of Albany, died on
Sunday, May 18, 2008. The
funeral service will be held at 11
a.m. on Wednesday at the
graveside in Cedar Hill
Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday
from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Harvey
