Fishermen thankful for rescue
I have really never appreciated the men of the Department of Natural Resources as they patrol and protect us while we fish and hunt in southwest Georgia. That is until Sunday afternoon when my fishing buddy Pink Whelchel and I were fishing out of Sportsman Club landing.

New law opens health care possibilities

Change causes a degree of anxiety for most people; however, the prospect of change can also be exhilarating because it opens new possibilities. Senate Bill 433 was recently overwhelmingly passed and the citizens of south Georgia should feel excited about the potential to access more competitive health care in their region.
